About Preserve Arizona
Preserve Arizona is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the restoration, renovation, and preservation of historical structures dating to the territorial period in Arizona. We identify buildings of historical and cultural significance that are in danger of decaying, falling to ruin, and being forever lost, and we save them from this fate. We do this so future generations may have physical landmarks to remind them of the states rich and colorful history.
Preserve Arizona looks for buildings, preferably those which have been designated by the U. S. National Park Service as National Historic Landmarks and which are listed on the National Register for Historic Places, which are in danger of falling into extreme disrepair, being condemned, being demolished, and being forever lost. We then find people in the community and/or agencies and businesses willing to donate the funds necessary to return these structures to a habitable and functional condition.
